First Bettas, first bubble nests!! :D

I've been having loads of bad luck with my (first ever) Betta babies. Since their purchase I have been trying to remedy their fin rot with no avail. I think they're finally on the mend for real, so I decided to splurge today. I bought a 20gal long that I plan on dividing for them once they are all better. Not only did I have a surprise for my bettas (new tank and a betta hammock) but they had a wonderful surprise for me too!

Morris and his bubble nest

Ty ty, yours is too! I just love the lighter/paler colored bettas. Morris is a bit iridescent and looks different in every picture i take of him. Day was a bit shy and wouldn't swim next to his nest, hopefully he'll swim by it before I have to do the water changes.

Very nice :) I see you have one leaf that is floating at the top.. that is the only way I can get some of mine to make nests, is offer them a floating leaf (usually naturally fallen dried oak leaf) or a small lid/frisbee toy.
