I have 20 gallon cichlid tank they are all still small but i was wondering how often I should feed them. I have two convicts, a jack dempsey, jewel, and some african yellow cichlid with black stripes. All I have to feed them is frozen brine shrimp and flakes. If someone could tell me how often to feed them that would help! :)

I feed mine once a day, usually at night.

Your fish are going to outgrow that tank fast, you are going to need at very minimum a 55 gallon.

Do you think it will be ok to feed them twice a day or leave it to once a day

Well Cichlids, I would assume, are gluttons like any other fish (AHEM bettas!) and you should leave it to once a day. I noticed that when I dropped feeding from 2 times a day to 1 time a day, my goldfish and betta's colors almost immediately became more vibrant. Also it's good to stimulate their minds by making them swim to a certain part of the tank before you feed them. My goldfish have to swim in and out of a fish net in order to get served their meal.

And what size of tank do you think I will need for all of them.

Probably 55 or bigger! Are you planning on doing a planted or non-planted aquarium?
