1.75 gallon

Hey everyone! So I have a 1.75 gallon bowl...and I just realized I have some aquarium fluval plant substrate. And overgrown plants in my tanks...perfect match, dont you think?

Anyway, I have everything needed...except a light...when you all have a bowl or vase or something, what kind of light do you use? I know people use lamps and such, but not any old light will work...what do you suggest?

Get a desk light that has a screw in bulb and use that. It works best that way.

What kind of desk light would you suggest? Do you know any cheapo ones that would work? And what light would I replace the bulb with?

any desk lamp thought would hover over the bowl. the light bulbs should be within 5000-6500k(could be lower but that range is medium-high lights) with "daylight" or "natural daylight" on the package.
