But I do find doing tank maintenance and caring for all my fish does help cheer me up, and I love watching them go about their day-to-day business. It's sometimes more interesting than seeing what's on TV.

yep that happens to me a lot.......,just the pouring the water thing, and sometimes Hoenycomb thinks when i am siphoning, my hands food, so he decides to follow it EVERYWHERE and then one time he actually "bit" and latched onto my finger lol


It does help cheer me up, because i feel like i am doing the best for my betta!

I have one of my boys right next to my bed on a little table, and every morning I'll spend at least half an hour watching him swim around. Sometimes I even fall asleep, it's so calming-in the middle of the day, too. And after I do a 100% change, and the water is so pretty looking, I'll just forget where I am and drift away...it's beautiful. I'm just worried when school starts, I won't be able to concentrate on homework!

I absolutely love caring for my betta as well. :)

One of the many things that I enjoy about him is that he's always there like if I have to stay up late to finish a project or even if I'm just feeling lonely. He's like my little "study buddy"! :) Having his tank on my desk is relaxing and even when I'm in a bad mood, watching him brings a smile to my face :)

Water changes are not my favorite, but knowing I am keeping my fish happy and healthy that makes me happy. I love redecorting though, while not exactly theraputic, it is tons of fun!

I love watching all my fish, my problem is I cant always decide who to watch lol
