Saw I contacted my school about the limit of how many tanks we can have.
I called the Housing office. The oones who deal with residence halls.
And the woman who picked up had NO idea that we were allowed fish tanks on campus. She was thinking that I was going to use the tank for something else, until she was like "or do you mean as in aquarium use?"
She knew we could have bettas, but didn't know anything else. I told her the limit was 10 gallons, but I didn't know about if I could have 2, as long as the size was below 10 gallons total. She told me she'll contact me back when she spoke to a few other people about teh topic.
A few hours later I get an email:
Just make sure it's okay with your roommate, but you're good.
So guess who is staying in his 2 gallon? BUDDHAAAAAAAAA
Pudge gets the 5 gallon (for now mhauhahaha), but I'm happy to know I don't have to force my baby with pudge.
The good thing is that my room mate was the one who came with me last year to get Buddha. She's seen me clean his tank and knows he doesn't take up much room.
But since I'm in a double now, with twice the amount of room (i used to be with 2 other room mates, which was a triple), I don't have to worry about space issues. My only problem is storage. I currently have a good 4 or 5 tupperwares/cups, a pitcher for filling/emptying the tank, and then the giant bottle of water conditioner, a quart of AQ salt, and a BIG bag of Epsom salt.
Overall, I might ned to use an entire drawer in my dresser jsut for my fish o.o
But I have fingers crossed that I get #3 when there. I'm sticking to Wednesday and Saturday tank cleanings now, so I will be 100% in schedule wen there.
