What a little TLC can do!

Nine days ago, I picked up two sick fish from a LPS. One was a horrible tail biter with fin rot. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. He lasted eight days before he died. I tried my best, but I guess he was just too sick. Now for the good news. The other fish, a double tail plakat we named Karloff, was very thin and stressed when we got him. He hid for three days and was in pretty rough shape.



Nine days later...



Clean water and high protein diet can do wonders for a fish

What a difference! He must be so happy to have a clean warm place to live. Its an amazing feeling when you get to save the life of a beautiful fish. Your doing great, I have a lot of respect for people who can try and save any animal that needs help.

Love him he is so pretty ! Sorry you lost the other one but at least he had someone that cared enough to try and save him. Good job !
