I got my new betta! Is he healthy?

Umm... Well he probably won't do it until he gets used to you, but Teeney likes to follow my finger if I run it along the glass :)

Some people teach their bettas to go through little hoops but you need food to train lol. Just be sure not to touch him, it's not good to touch your betta because it removes the slime coat which protects them against illness.

Or you can put your finger in the tank and see if he bites you. Lol. Teeney bites. It doesn't hurt, but it does scare me lol. Their teeth are small xD

Haha ya I think I would get pretty scared too. :P It will prob. take a while for him to follow my finger bc he gets so scared when my hand comes close. Sometimes it's pretty cute how he goes to the surface and then quickly swims back down. :P

He is really pretty I have a crown tail too . Very nice home for him I bet he is going to love living in there. I bet it will not take him long to get used to you and Betta are really smart little guys just give him some time. Enjoy I know you will !

Mine already fallows a sring they love to do that it gives them plenty of exersice and fun!

Thank you Perseusmom! I really hope he does like his new home. :D Yup I chose to get a betta because I've heard they have great personalities. :) It seems like he's a little less scared because he was hiding behind the tank before but today he is swimming around everywhere. He also didn't come by the side of the tank that I was sitting by, but he did come a little today. :)

yes but make you they fallow trhough the glass t though not over because then he'll jump out and might get badly injured nd die
