I know this is somehwta about Bettas but is also about me

Ok so here goes. I have had a hard time making friends during my short life time. Thankfully over the years I have made some very good friends. Now while this is all true I also wanted to be a vet. Sadly though due to my Asthma I cannot keep furry friends. So Now I decided to keep fish. leraning all i can about Betta's gives me the little dea and feeling I finally made it to becoming a vet so to speak. My betta's have givven me life. a reson to feel good about myself. I was always in and out of hospitals and really my first pet ever was a Betta when i was like 7 back when there was no such thing of knowing they need more than a little cup. I Love those little fishies and I love learning something new every day about them. If I could I would sell Betta's or something but keeping three is more than enough :) Thanks guys for reading needed to express my feelings as to why fish keeping especially Betta kepping is sucha good thing for me.

Goldie- if you truly love being a fish caretaker, perhaps you could still make your dream of being a veterinarian happen. Or, at least very close. You could become a specialist in fish & aquatic medicine. You would still need to be exposed to some furry animals during your schooling(probably, I don't actually know...), but after that, you could live the dream! :)

Also, many veterinarians work to develop products or techniques for treating animals. Some of them don't have to be around animals very much. Or maybe you could be a marine biologist?

Everyone should have the chance to do what they love. :)

Aww..Goldie, that is a beautiful sentiment, my daughter also wants to be a VET, and having experience with fish, helps so much..and doing what you love is very important, and yes, I totally agree, bettas bring so much people so much happiness, and joy..no one ever knows truly what an amazing experience it is to have a betta as a friend until they get to spend some time with them, and really see how much they open your heart..it's such a wonderful feeling!!! I love bettas so much, and I have been growing our lil family so quickly in the past few months.. and each and every one of them being different in personality, brings that much more exitement in to our home
