Here we grow again...

Oops, clicked the wrong forum, but since I'm here...I just brought home my first female betta. Anything I need to know specifially about a female? She's in a 2G Kritter Keeper and currently not planning on adding her to anything else, though I have aspirations of making a sorority at some point.

Not much different in terms of care between males and females. They do tend to be tinier at first. Also if they get big bellies it means they have eggs and that means they're healthy and well fed. If you see that she is eggbound - too rounded or huge - she will often just drop her eggs or just eat them. Some females have been known to build bubblenests and deposit their eggs in them. These little ones are simply awesome, congrats on your new girl! She is gorgeous :)
