Thanks! I got him in the same sized cup as the adults too! I feed him in the tiny condiment cup though. :) just a habit we both got into. I think his eyes look cartooney. like its all black with that white rim :P

it is sooo fun watching them grow XD I think the VTs are fun with their tails dropping. I was all sad when I was away and couldnt watch his tail get ponger all of a sudden :O

He does look so much better right? I was soooo annoyed at all those holes and him splitting his tail twice D<
But all is well now and the fin growing adventure continues!
I'm expcting to see curly fins soon since I'm keeping the water a little on the hard side. I just realized that my plants dont neccessarily like that...

wow he changed a lot! i got a baby betta just yesterday and i was wondering how often you need to change their water? i have heard a few things and i actually want him/her to grow.

depends on the size of your tank :) I did every day in my 1/2g when Kuro was a baby. As long as its proper water changes (same temp, PH ect) they wont mind. Infact they will grow much faster :) Temperature is also a big issue. one of my rooms stay at 85F (it has the boiler in there) thats where I found my babies to grow the fastest also.

Oh and I had plants to help incase the was an ammonia build up. lemme dig up a pic...


I had to siphon the water out every day. that wasnt very fun. lolol

I love these pix..watching them grow is exiting..the difference in color and fin size is very dramatic..and very very pretty..Congrats on such cute lil fishy's:)
