It can be caused my more than just feeding issues, and esp salt helps relieve it too, not sure of dosage.

@Kevin: In this case I think Nibbles swim bladder problems started when his heater went berserk and increased the temp of the water from 79 to 87 degrees rapidly. I don't think 87 degrees can be deadly when the temp is raised gradually, but since the heater went nuts the temp raised faster than Nibbles could acclimate. Yo ualso don't have to woory about me feeding my betta peas. I'm aware that technique is designed for goldfish and not betta fish. :)

@PogtheFish: When I searched for swim bladder threads in the forum I found an old post Oldfishlady wrote a while ago. He's already in a 2tsp/gallon episom salt treatment. It's only day 3 so I'm hoping he gets better before I hit the 10 day mark.

10 day is for aq salt, esp has no limits
