All of my levels are at 0, and "safe". Im using test strips.

Why wouldnt there be any spikes after having him for almost 2 weeks now?

Do I still water change without a spike?

Test Strips. SUCK. They all misread! I had a pH test strip and it said my pH was 6.5... Which meant I was unable to cycle. But no, I bought the Master Test Kit and now my tank is supposedly cycled of a pH of 7.6. MAJOR DIFFERENCE. 6.5 and 7.6. Get a better testing kit or go to a pet store and see if they do LIQUID tests. Don't take in "safe" ways. Always check the actual ppm. Water change, IMMEDIATELY!

I'll look into getting a liquid test kit. Bummer that the strips are inaccurate. I paid 25-30 dollars for those suckers.
