Seriously, why are you even commenting when you have no idea what you are talking about. I had betta's with fin rot and this looks nothing like it. His tail is curled up into it's self, fin rot doesn't do that

Actually there was a big thing with fin melt (australia) here in imported bettas I believe. So it is not fake.

It is where the ends of the fins clump together, almost like they have been glued or 'melted'.

Some people suggested hitting it straight away with antibiotics but I am always cautious doing that with fish. So I would try IAL, clean water and a course of AQ salt and see if it doesn't heal on its own.

Actually no it doesn't. You need to learn more about betta's since every post you comment on has no truths or half truths to it. I suggest you look it up again because people on here asked about the same thing I did.

Thank you for actually answering me. I am using AQS and changing the water, he looks happier and it's starting to unclamp.

Is it because of the water hardneess? I know there's a curling in the fins caused by hard water but I'm sure....

no truths should be no truth i never said it was fake a lot of medical problems me and Obama the Cory I am sorry for the mix up still everything I said about fin rot is true but is seems like fin melt to me sorry for the confusion. P.S. I said will help it seems.
