We made the decision to separate the bettas from other anabantids because it becomes increasingly difficult to dig through gourami and ctenopoma references when you see plenty of betta topics, not to mention it appears the forum is more of a betta forum more than anything else. Besides, this has been warranted its own subforum based on the traffic and suggestions by several members. To be honest, this is a nice change since it makes researching in this forum much easier.
