Question Something wrong with my betta?

I fed my betta about an hour ago. After about 30 minutes I noticed him swimming rapidly around the tank, mostly near the top. Iíve never seen him swim this fast before and he almost never swims this close to the top of the tank. It only lasted for a few minutes but now he is laying at the bottom of his tank in a spot I sometimes see him in but never for this long. About every five minutes he swims around the tank at his usual speed and in his usual place but then heads back to his spot at the bottom of his tank. Could there be something wrong or am I just being paranoid?

Sounds like parasites, do you see any external matter that doesn't belong there? Filling this out actually solves all the questions that are needed to be answered.

What about the other parts? You need to be doing more water changes, you would have to do 2 50% changes per week. Is your tank cycled? The snail also has to go, too much ammonia which can hurt both of them. You mean water conditioner, right?
