Sleepy, sleepy Betta...

My CT Buddy Blue sleeps so deeply! He has scared me on several occasions by taking a while to respond when he's been asleep. All my other bettas come alive quickly, swim to the front, dancing etc., not Buddy! He reminds me of a teenager..."I don't want to get up yet"! Anyone else have one like this? I had to get up really early today..well, early for me, and Buddy took his usual slow time waking up, ate, and I just looked in and he is back in his "tree" sleeping lol!

Yeah, Fishie scared me one time, too because he was on the bottom not moving at all and I was tapping on the tank and jiggling the tank and he wasn't moving. Finally he woke up slowly. lol.

Aah! That's so scary! I had a rabbit that used to do that to me! I hope my soon to be baby isn't like that. I might lose years off my life!

The first time Buddy did it too me, I thought for sure he was sick..he drifted out of his tree to the bottom of the tank and just sat there...five minutes later, he's swimming around like normal, dancing, and eating...he drives me crazy with worry lol!

That would freak me out! I get upset when PLANTS die. There's a reason I'm a conservation biologist. Haha!

Thankfully I'm pretty good with plants. Though sometimes I lose new cuttings.

Cinder used to sleep nose-down inside of his castle, with just his tail sticking out. :) I have photo proof!
