What is their poop supposed to look like?

I've seen some look like the pellets I feed, meaning it is just a round ball. But I've seen others look a little stringy. It hangs out as the fish swims, and then falls to the floor in a little coil. Different shades of brown... Are these normal?

I think its okay as long as its not white

My bettas are fed the aqueon betta pellets and they usually have string brown poo about 2-3 cm long depending on how much their swimming around. Unless it suddenly changes color I doubt its anything serious. The only time poo might be a problem is if its white or if the fish isn't relieving itself ever.

It depends on what they eat too. My bettas have really different poop on the days they get bloodworms as opposed to pellets.
