I miss you Nigel

Nigel was a petsmart impulse and easily the most beautiful betta I have ever owned. He didn't survive an upgrade, I moved everything that was in his tank over, same water source etc... just pineconed and then died the same day .

Here he was the day I bought him.

His first bloodworm feeding.... this face always made me laugh. WHAT IS THIS MIRACLE CALLED BLOODWORMS!!

You sound like you made his last moments his best I am super sorry for your loss. What do you think killed him your edit words were great and fitting. The blood worm miracle part was great I feed mine freeze dried Brine shrimps weekly a pellet daily they are the size of his eye and as soon as I can buy more Flightless Fruit Flies.
