Last picture. Do you see the white stuff on the terracotta pot? It is not actually on the pot but on top of the water. I am wondering if female betta's blow bubbles also. The male had a couple of beautiful bubble nests.

One of things I miss most are the bubble nests the male had made. I love seeing that.

Thank you for the responses. Rosy, I do too! Mo, I thought the pics were too big and tried to change them.

I don't know why I couldn't make them smaller. The first picture of the male worked great but not the others.
