Finally getting some pics up.

So life is a bit calmer now and decided to get some pics.
First is Blue who was a gift from a good friend a few years ago. He is kinda ugly which is the reasoning my friend got him for me and he has never really had decent fins but he still shows off like he does. Due to his ugly fins, I'm not really sure what type of betta he is.


Next we have Peggy or Peg for short. She is Blue's girl and is super laid back. She like to follow your finger around and eat anything.

Now we have Bowtie or Bo for short. He is feeling much better since the female ripped him up. Stress coat and some protein have got his fins growing back and he is in good spirits.


And here is a pic of four fry from the next generation from Blue and Peg (not the best breeding pair but I want my awesome Blue to live forever, plus he is such a great dad) A small spawn of about 30 that seems to be doing well.

That's what I think though the tips are always clear and white, showing new growth... they just never get any length to them... and I can assure you he does not have fin rot now. The dark patches around the edges are actually where the fins begin to turn red, camera just made them dark.

He was a Walmart fish after all, you usually know what to expect when you hear that. :/

What cute fry!!!! Love them!! Bowtie is really pretty! Too bad about his fins my female ripped my DS platinum CT up and I just broke my heart!
