The Incredible Dr. Pol

I watched this show once, and somehow got hooked on it. Dr. Pol's life reminds me of this book I read when I was younger called "All Creatures Great and Small". Its a book collection about a veterinarian in the countryside of Great Britain. Like Dr. Pol, he treated all animals, great and small.

The area that Dr. Pol has his practice reminds me of my hometown. I was born in the southwest of Minnesota. Its mostly flat, rural countryside. You can literally see for miles and miles out there.

Dr. Pol is a pretty cool guy, albeit a little hard to get along with sometimes, by the looks of it.

I grew up reading James Herriot!! I looved those books. Dr. Pol absolutely reminds me of him, as well :)
