I think Lil Sano is having a hard time seeing

I have posted a lot of threads about how I think my baby is sick, so I may be coming off as a little over protective. Better safe than sorry I suppose.
Anyway, When I go to feed Lil Sano he eats the bigger pieces first. Then I have to tap my finger in the water so he can find the rest of the food. Or, If all of the pieces are small, I have to tap my finger in the water for about 5min until all his nummies are gone. Might he be going blind? Does that mean there is something wrong with the water here, because he didn't do that before I moved?

My boy Norbert does that, he can see fine but is too lazy to "hunt" it

lol I hope that is the case here. I have his smaller pieces of food in the water and I poke my finger into the surface. He comes to my finger but doesn't eat or even seem to acknowledge the food. How can you test for blindness in a betta?

He doesn't seem to be completely blind because he can see larger things.

Jonah wanted his food to sink almost all the way to the bottom when I first got them. I would put them in and have to push them under before he would eat them. Maybe try that?

He has always attacked his food like right when I put it in. If I make a piece sink, he usually eats it and spits it out :(
