Is my Betta "Wynn" sick?

I just recently moved my betta from a 1 gallon aqueon tank to a 3 gallon marineland about a week and a half ago. I have noticed alot of residue in the tank showing up on the ceramic decorations. I've been cleaning the tank out completely once a week. My betta is making a bubble nest and seems content,(swimming around, fanning) however recently I have noticed discoloration on the tips of his crowntail on the bottom, and either he scraped his fins away along the left top side behind his right eye or something is happening to his scales on that side. Any input is appreciated. was going to try to get water tested tommorrow, and bring him in as well to petsmart to have them take a look at him. Some pictures are attached.

The fins are fin rot, I would either get/start medication or go the more natural route with IAL, aq salt, extra stress coat and lots of water changes. Which way you choose is purely up to you both have their own advantages but get you the same result in roughly the same time.
