So would I not being able to see is scary. There could be an Oscar near me. Your fish could still be adjusting to his new good home.

True, I have him in my 6.6 gallon, he is probably trying to get used to actually having room to swim lol

scary thought for a betta. i saw some tiger oscars at the LPS yesterday that could eat three or four bettas in one bite.
