i added more plants to the tank


and here he is




ive had him for a while now, but i dont think ive posted pictures. i tried to add a school of cory cats and he got along with them great but kept eating ALL their food. so i took the corys out and he is the king of the manor.

Wow he's pretty! His red is really vibrant :D He must be SUPER happy in that set up!

i like to think he is happy. he has a whole ten gallon to him self.

You could try some ghost shrimp... mine seems to get along fine with them and they do a good job of keeping the tank clean. Of course its not a bad idea to add thick tank plants for the shrimp to hide in and keep your betta well fed... just in case. Of course I have 2 guppies and 1 lone tetra he hangs out with too. Either way, nice tank! I'm to worried about a clean tank to use sand but it looks so nice.

the shirmp will never eat. ever pellet i drop in there he eats, the shrimp would eventually starve to death.

its ok. im sure he is happy having the whole thing to himself.

and the sand doesnt get dirty with just him in there.

My Female Bettas always eat my Cory Cat's food too. I solved that by droping in the Bottom Feeder waffers or Pellets right after I turn off the tank and room lights for the night. Then the Bettas wont eat them :)
