How long have you had him? Some of the settle in the first day, and some can take a week or longer!
I've had him for a week but he won't go anywhere near my 3 frogs, who just ignore him completely. I'm going to add more silk plants for him to hide in. My frogs took over the new tall plants meant for Tyrannith :(
Hi!! I'm very new to the community. I usually browse reddit to post pics and brag about my little betta and it has just been dead. I think this community is exactly what I was looking for! I currently have a really young CT male who I might have a lot of questions about as he is growing up. I also bought my brother a mean spadetail who I'm not too worried about.

I have never had any frogs...they sound pretty cool though, and yeah, more places to hide might make him feel more confident!

They're so fantastic! They try nibbling at my fingers if I put them in the tank, they make the funniest faces and fall over! I can hold them just at the waterline without them being scared :) they're just so silly. If you have room, I say you should definitely get one! They need to be hand fed but other than that, I love them so much.

Just wanted to make sure your fish is healthy. Glad you are taking care of him. Advice is the best welcome you sound like you have been keeping Bettas for a while. Welcome to the forum. I was reffering to your brother rare for one person to take care of a Betta well but two brother.

I've only had a betta for a week but I've had my frogs for months :) I've been doing a lot of research, I want to give my betta the best life possible. That makes sense about my brother :) I'm helping him take care of it.

I breed a female veil and a giant 5 star plakat , and most looked like large spade tails ,well they were and yes they have a atittude problem,was going to send him to fish therapy , but he wouldnt lay on couch.
