I should never be allowed in pet stores by myself but one opened up a month ago and I went to see if they had my filter replacements(they did not :( ) I looked at all the aquariums and couldn't find the bettas. Then I did. And it was bad. There were probably around 20 and food all over. I then looked through them all trying to find a black one. Then I saw one that was floating on his side, so I picked up his (TINY!) cup, and it turns out he was still kickin'. I got him home and put him into a walmart betta cup that's like three times the size of his other one. Gonna put him in a little larger tank and go from there.
He's turquoise with some iridescence and doesn't have a name yet..
