So there is some weird green filament things growing off my anacharis. Is this algae or the way the plant reproduces? If it is algae can you tell me how to remove it? Thanks!

Can you post a picture? Is it the same green as the anacharis or darker?

It does sound like algae, I would just give it a rinse in some warm water or when you do a water change just swirl it around in the tank water until the algae comes off. How much light is your tank getting ? To much light is what mostly cause it.
