Flaring Fish

Right now Dreamless is flaring at everything in his tank and he's normally not like this. I cant figure out why he is flaring. My sister accidentally shone her flashlight in Dreamless's face and after that hes flaring. Should I be worried?

Nah, just let him flare. Flaring is healthy and nothing to worry about!

I shone a light in MY betta's face and he started flaring a LOT. But I learned flaring is healthy, on a thread. So just let your betta flare, he'll be fine, I promise you. ^v^

Ok Thank you! I was getting worried that he would get stressed out and stuff. He's still flaring away.

no problem. Flaring also attracts females, but don't let him flare TOO long, too much flaring adds up to stress!

I do have my baby betta fish next to his tank. But, shes scared of him. Now that I think about it its past food time. woops! TIME FLYS!

maybe you should separate them, my King Dedede and Equinox nearly mated...

I had to run and separate them... I keep King Dedede on my desk and Equinox on my bookshelf. (Equinox is temporarily living in a cup until I can find him a good tank.

They are both in there own tanks. I also figured out he can see his reflection on the glass. Sometimes I find him weird.

then use something to make him stop seeing the reflection, that's the flare cause, he thinks theres another male on the reflection, maybe a aquarium background?

I just did that and hes flaring at that too. He's strange. He only does it only in one top corner.
