Your betta fry would do best on live foods until it gets older. If you do not have access to live foods,it is reccomended to feed your betta fry Frozen baby brine shrimp or frozen daphnia- you can thaw one block and feed it 2-3 meals a day. Also new life spectrum growth formula is a good food, but may need to be crushed depending on your fry's size.

I posted this in the first post, it will get a tank to itself if its a boy, or in the sorority if its a girl, but right now I can't spare a tank for the fish if it is easier to put in the breeder box. I have 1 tank to be set up next week that I have a fish waiting to go into. Btw the box has a solid floor that was a slitted divider a few inches up in it.

I think itd be better in the jar, just because they need pristine water, so daily changes with the jar would keep him/her healthiest.

Also, if the baby is sick, it could get your sorority sick. or vice versa.

I think it would do ok with the sorority if the tank is well planted. If not, I would keep it in the box until you think it could sustain a few good bites from your females. I guess it would also depend on how fast/active the baby is.

Ok, I probably won't get it for a week or 2, I'm really big on planning, and I want everything set up perfectly. I will keep it out of the sorority until it is big enough, its well decorated, but not heavily planted. I actually don't have alot of real plants in there, but even if my fake plants were real, they wouldn't be enough.
