Crowntail fin question

Noticed my Crowntail has some interesting things going on with the fins at the tip. As you can see in the picture, it looks like they almost curl back on themselves and either become hooked or tiny little balls/knots.

Is this normal or something I should be concerned with?

it's REALLY common for CT's fins to do that. x: my own CT, Zaidane, his fins curled up like little piggy tails. all it means is your water is too....... hard, i think it is, for his fins. doesn't hurt them at all. :U
