Hey everyone!
I haven't been on BF for a looong time, but today I have been feeling a little "betta and fish sick" and miss the fish, so I decided to visit again. Hopefully I will be sticking around for some time. :)
Some background on me for any newer members.
I am a student trying to get a degree in Wildlife Conservation/Ecology something or other (I forget the exact title, but it is pretty much a Wildlife Biology degree) who owns the animals listed in my siggy. Emmy BTW, is my soul mate in dog form, she is my baby.
I came here to BF 3ish years ago when I set up a 20g long with a yellow veiltail named Speedbump and 3 Cardinal Tetras and 3 Cory Cats.
At some point several months later I added a few more Bettas to my clan, but the fish in my 20g passed away soon after that and I rehomed my Corycats. I was having health issues soon after, and 2 of my other Bettas were rehomed to a member on here and they thrived in her care till they passed away at older age.
After that, I stopped visiting the forum and got wrapped up in life and during my time away also took care of my health and here I am now. Seems like a LOONG time has passed.
I feel like I don't have much to contribute because I don't plan on having a fish tank for a while. :( I am going to use my Bearded Dragon's 40g breeder when he passes away as an Amazon themed fish tank and get a Betta too (used to be used as an aquatic tank) which could be anywhere between 1-3 more years away. I also promised my BF no more animals for a while after we got our 2nd cat :p. I think that for now 7 animals is enough to care for

, but the temptation is hard to resist!
Anyways, that's me. I recognize some of the older members still frequenting the site, which is nice. :)
