So I purchased a marimo moss ball from Petco a week ago. I am now preparing for a possible snail invasion, because I did not rinse the moss off before I put it in the tank. *face desk*
There was an article about algae eaters on Petco's website. They talked about snails, and how if you purchased live plants you probably got some. (The tank I got the moss from did have snails in it!) The then said that clown and skunk loaches are snail eating fish.
So I was wondering if I could add a clown or skunk loach to my tank. Do they need to be in schools?
However, I fear that I have already reached the max of my 10 gallon. I have 7 females (bettas) in that tank.
Any helpful advice? Thank you.
EDIT- Clown and Skunk loaches get way to big for me to house them. Any other fish or invert that help me out?
