Great day!

Today I went on a shopping spree and found a lot of sweet deals! So excuse me while I proceed to gush:

Went to Petsmart and...yup, bought some bettas. Two, to be precise. THESE ARE MY LAS-...who am I kidding, I'll probably end up with more.

One's a HM...he's got those black spots on his dorsals which I just looove, and he's a very striking red & blue butterfly. I think once he settles in he's gonna be a stunner.

Second one is...not all that 'amazing', I guess, but he tugged at my heartstrings. He's a sweet looking VT boy with some pastel colours, light blues, whites, reddish-purples. Under certain light he gets a greenish tinge though.

Also went to Value Village for the first time in years and years...because I remember some members getting some good finds there.

So guess what I found?

A nice bowl, looks to be a little over 2 gal for only $7! Compare to petshops here that sell them for $20 or more...yep, a steal imo. Gotta say I squealed a little.

Then I went to the other one in my city and found...a 2.5 gal setup for $15! The ones that are sort of like bowfronts...they've got the bright coloured plastic stand and a matching hood along with a UGF...I used to have one until my dad randomly gave it away.
It's a horrid bright pink colour, but it was a good deal so it doesn't bug me much.

What else? Went to the LFS that I've mentioned before..they give me discounts there usually...picked up a large handful of Java Moss (the guy threw in a little extra!) and a cute branch for $5.

In addition to all this, I FINALLY found the materials for tank dividers. Walmart finally got some of that knitting plastic mesh stuff in and I got some report binder covers too! So now I can setup my 20G long for 4 of my boys!

Long story short, today = successful shopping day.
