how big are your shrimp??? i want to get some ghost shrimp, but they need to be big enough that the betta is less likely to eat them. so how big???

One is a pretty big female, the other 2 aren't very big. I thought one of them died and I scooped it out and flushed it. I found 3 walking around after 2 days after the flushing. Big surpirse. Biggest one is about a inch and a half.

My crown tail pug ate of my shrimp and the other turned white and died ... I don't know why he did that I've never had any of my other ghost shrimp in my other two tanks die ... Maybe he was pestered to death and that's why I'll wait awhile before putting more in and I'll put in larger ones also...
