We'll give it a shot. The gourami hasn't been healthy since we got him a month ago, and now he's looking worse and not eating. ): He was always my favorite. I just put him in a 1g Betta hospital, so that if he dies at least he won't be eaten.

:( Poor baby. Make sure it can reach the surface to breathe. Gouramis are relatives of bettas can have to breathe surface air too.

I am. It makes me sad. All the fish we got looked sick, because she had bought them from Petsmart. Our fish stores around here are pretty bad, but that one is #2 to only Walmart.

He was just floating in the corner of the tank, and wouldn't eat. When I cupped him and poured him in, he couldn't keep himself upright from the slight water current.

You can try him in 1 tsp of epsom salt per gallon and see if that helps him any.

I'll get him a fake plant to rest on and try a little bit of Epsom salt. Do I just dump it in?

My fish don't get sick often, so I haven't had to do a salt treatment.

Edit: I don't think it would make much of a difference now. ): He's laying on his side in a top corner. He looks dead, but he's still breathing.

it'd be nice. I really should not buy more fish stuff. i think is should put anacharis along the divider between Zed and Roxas and keep things lovely

i wonder if i could weave it through the divider and have it grow...

I'd like to find a nice floating plant, something that I don't need substrate for.
