Opinions on this tank i was going to buy?

the first picture it shows isnt the right one. The rest are correct though.

The filter is a penquin bio-wheel and everything is fully integrated under the hood. The lights are L E D and also integrated.

The tank has 5 stars and is suppossed to be amazing.

Also, the bio-wheel sucks up water on one side of the tank and travels to the other side where it will then be dispersed.

This tank will most likely be bare bottom, with an HM in it.

I REALLY LIKE this tank, but i would appreciate opinions/questions/comments/concerns!

it looks nice, you might have to baffle the filter, i dont know how strong those filters are but that shouldnt be a big deal. it is a acrylic right? you will have to be careful of scratches but a bare bottom will help with that you will have no rocks scratches it. for that price you can probably get a 5 gallon. It is a nice looking tank if you like it you should get it.

If you're going to get a halfmoon be careful with that filter.

I bought a whisper filter and a halfmoon double tail and can no longer keep the filter on because it's too strong for him.

I have that exact tank. It's a Whisper filter and it will need to be baffled and the suction of the filter will need to be blocked as well. I just lost my CT from getting sucked in the intake. There is no bio wheel with this, just the regular filter.

hahah no guys! That first filter is wrong. this tank has been gtting confused with another 3 marineland. This one i am positive has the filter in the hood, and i can only fit a 3 gal. right now.

I had that tank, I had two actually until I let my girlfriend use one and when the fish died she threw it away -ugh. At any rate I really enjoyed the tank when I used it and thought it housed a single betta very well c:

For all of you that dont know the name, it is a 3 gallon Marineland Elipse Crescent
fully integrated aquarium with penquin bio-wheel.

Replace the cartridge it comes with, use a sponge. If the flow is too high, Marineland filters have good pumps and usually on the strong side, try this http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/b...-betta-115070/ .

thanks! yah, the biowheel helps reduce the flow, but i will use a sponge!
