Petco, actually. I fell in love with him :)

dsfsgdhgfhd what a lucky find. He's certainly a black butterfly halfmoon. He looks like a black version of my lavender butterfly half moon. Very very beautiful animal.

He's a joy. Such a great personality :)

He scraped some of his scales on his head on something today. I put some salt in the tank and he's already almost healed up! I wonder if it's the pot. I hope it isn't, I really like it so much :P

I'm not very familiar with betta colors.
Is black orchid a rare color?
He has some fin damage, will it eventually heal?
Also, any tips to help intensify his color would be great :)

Fishy did that yesterday too. She got over excited when I was feeding her and jumped slightly out of her tank. She did it again after I put the cardboard I'm using to block the feeding hole and scraped her head on the cardboard and the edge of the feeding hole, she's got 2 white spots on her head that kind of resemble ich. If I hadn't seen her jump and the spots immediately after, I would have assumed it was ich, and I would have definitely freaked out because she just recovered from velvet and then a jump out of her tank!
