what will the baby betas be?

Am new at this site so i dont know if this is the correct place to post this

So i have a pair of veiltail bettas one red and one blue if i breed them the baby betas will be blue/red? or is there a chance to get another color?

and if i breed them how many bettas usually survive?

you'll get lots of reds and blues from breeding them. maybe some blues with red wash. i think red is dominant, so your chances of another color are slim.

how many babies survive depend on the care you take of the fry. you could get hundreds, or you could get one.

Since you do not know the genetics of these bettas, you will have absolutely no clue what the fry will look like.
The amount that survive will greatly vary, you wont know until it happens.
Veiltails are very hard to find homes for, so keep that in mind in case you end up with a couple hundred fish.

Please read the stickys and do a lot of research before you breed. It is more complicated than most people think.
