About a month ago I rescued Pebbles from Petsmart. He wasn't swimming around in his tiny cup he was forced into. His water was full of crud. Now a month later hes eating the guppies I give him.
I also have a question! Can I put him in a 30g tank with other betta's and other fish?

I don't really know what color to call him. He has about 4 different colors in him. Anyone know what color to call him?

No, this diet is inappropriate.

AND NO NO NO!

You can NEVER put bettas with other bettas, even females with males.
Males will fight to the death, thus the name "siamese fighting
fish"

It depends on what type of fish are in the community, but bettas are to NEVER be kept with other bettas, trust me.

It depends on what type of fish are in the community, but bettas are to NEVER be kept with other bettas, trust me.

They aren't real guppies! They are dried up guppies and I only give him not even half of it for a treat like every 4 weeks. And anyways my betta did live with another fish that was smaller and he never bugged it.

Ok, but still, that is not an appropiate diet IMO. Their diet should consist mainly of meat, and pellets are the best food. Again, IMO.

What type of fish are your betta living with? Brightly colored or long-finned fish shouldnt be kept with bettas, as bettas mistake them for other bettas and can fight them.

Again, no bettas with other bettas!

He's diet is pellets. Everyday fed 2 times EXEPT Wednesday he doesn't get fed. Also he lives on his own he used to live with a little sucker fish named gubbles. He was all black and normaly hid in the plants.

Overseas breeders feed theirs guppy fry. There is nothing wrong with supplementing with fish as a fishes diet.

Uhh, I think guppies are made from more meat than pellets. Probably better than pellets.

That's what I was thinking. I think it's also healthier for the fish that pellets cause pellets have a lot of things in it and I hate feeding animals things I don't know where they came from. Plus he likes the dried guppies more than pellets.

yeah lol. guppies sounds yum for bettas XD better if you fed the bettas guppy fry ;)
The only reason I never fed mine fry is because fry seem too darn cute to be eaten! I even find my scud too cute to be betta food!!

My bettas love guppy fry! They go insane for some!!! I don't feed them really guppies because they don't attack them.
