I feel bad.. :/

Zen and Shaka were temporarily sharing a 2.5 divided gallon. Zen must have jumped the divider because he was one Shaka's side and Shaka was breathing heavily. They must have fought. :(

I moved Shaka into a 1 gal hospital tank with aq. salt and Melafix. Zen took some nips out of his head/back and I'm really hoping they will heal up.

I just feel awful that this happened. I didn't know Zen would be able to jump the barrier.

I'm buying Shaka his own tank this weekend. I can't help but feel a little mad at Zen, but I know it was just his instinct. :(

Aww, it was not you fault. It has happened before to other members its not like you did something stupid and hurt your betta, there was nothing you could have done.

Aw, I'm sorry that happened to you guys! I'm sure he will be just fine in a couple days :)

Be careful with anything ending in "fix" (Bettafix, Melafix, etc.) - many of the members here say it harms the labrynth organ.

Thank you guys very much for the comforting words.

Thank you for the warning, toad. I think I'm gonna use Melafix for a few days, just to prevent any potential infection. I get paranoid about my fishies getting sick..
