Ideal Betta size tank

Hey guys, is a 54L tank too big for a single Betta?

How much is that in gal size, I am sorry I am not familiar with Liters, is it more than 5 gallons?

PERFECT!!! I have nothing less than a 10g & I wouldn't have it any other way. I have 2 10g tanks each with a single male Betta & to me it's perfect.

No, that is great, a betta would be quite happy with that much room, I want a 10 gal but don't have enough room for it in my house, if you go with that, I would opt for a cycling method, with a lot of live plants.

Danios work well for me as companions...Betta and Danios leave each other alone but you need 6+ for the danios to school. Dwarf cory cats also good tank mates and you need 4+ for them. Your 54l tank is the perfect size for a Betta imo.

I got my first-ever Betta, Prince Puddle, in early June. First he lived in a glass, 2 and a half gallon tank with some fake plants, rocks and gravel. He also had a heater in his tank to keep the water at about 75 degrees. This worked well, but I after a month, I put him in a five-and-a-half gallon tank, with a heater, some fake plants, and two live plants - a java fern and an antler fern. He really seems to enjoy the more space, and since he's been in the bigger tank, he makes bubble nests. He makes them under the leaves of the antler fern. I'm sure he'd appreciate a larger tank, but for now I'll keep in in the five-and-a-half gallon one.
