giving my betta a friend?

in the past ive done well with bettas, and ive also done well with those little ittybitty aquatic frogs. now im not sure if this would work, but would those two be able to live together in one tank? or should i keep them seperated (i ask because im interested in purchasing a new betta and a new frog and need to know how many tanks to buy) thanks for any help!

The frogs I take it are African Dwarf Frogs?

This all depends on the personality of your betta. Some wont notice them, some will make friends, some will tear them to shreds.

Also, it depends on your tank size, filtration, heated, etc etc. What is it for each?

I would say 5G, minimum. Just be sure it has a filter, is heated for the betta, and has plenty of hiding spots for the frogs (2 minimum, as they like company) just in case.

Glad to see people who plan their tank around their stocking.

yep flashygrrl your right, well done for researching before buying :). just a suggestion, you might want to think about getting another tank (2.5 or 5 gallons) just in case the pair doesnt work out, so you can have a back up tank cycled for the betta. not saying anything well or wont happen but its nice to have something to fall back on if any major problems occur. the only draw back is that it costs more and you could have an empty tank with no one in it (but better reason to get more fish :D ) good luck :D
