My 4 new females are doing great in the 10g QT tank. Initially 2 of them were out to kill each other but after separating one out for a few hours & re-introducing her they are getting along with very little flaring or chasing. YAY! Had me worried. Another one seemed to have swim bladder, she'd struggle to swim down & then just bob back to the top. I put her in a 1g heated tank for a few days, fasted her, daily water changes, fed 1 pellet & within 4-5 days she was swimming normal again. She's now in the 10g with the other girls & swimming around with no problem. They all had some degree of fin rot but are on the mend. In a few weeks if all continues to go well I will start adding them to the 46g community tank. They're little piggies, took a couple of days for them to figure out I was the source of food, now the swarm the side of the tank I'm on begging for food. Silly girls.
