I think so. Well, my girl was still pretty young (not a "baby" but still small) but her ventrals were about half the size as your girl's and more triangle-shaped. Maybe they get longer? Someone else who has had adult females would be better to comment. But I'm pretty sure they stay pretty short.

Well, she has a LOT of eggs, so I know she is a female. But maybe shes not a veiltail as advertised.

I think maybe shes not a veiltail... a breeder friend of mine says shes a plakat..

Lol,I dont think so, especially since my boy chops doesnt fight with her, and she has eggs. I wish i could show ya a close up of her egg sac and all, but i dont have a good camera. but who knows, time will tell.
