I agree that angelfish should not be kept with bettas. It seems in the second pic that his scales are missing. I'm not sure what that indicates, but someone else probably knows. If you want your fish to be safe, look at betta compatibility to prevent any hostility between your fish.

They've never been hostile to each other. The have both grown up with each other. I've never had any problems with my angelfish hurting other. Mostly hes scared of me whenever i come home because it shocks him. He used to be scared of the barb.

Every time he goes up for air he just sinks downwards not trying to swim
He must somehow eat algae because every time i put food on the top he just stays where he is not moving. Sometimes i will think he is dead but whenever i put the net in there he spurts over to another area and lays any way i dont have a hospital tank just a bowl
