So I just recently put in an 8-inch bendable aeration wand (it was literally the smallest one I could find on Amazon Prime) into my 10gal planted tank because I thought my 4 juvenile Corys would need it. However I've noticed Cinder (my DT Betta) struggling more to swim since the water is being moved around more than it was before. Should I take out the wand or leave it in? I feel that the plants I have in there can create enough oxygen for them to survive but I also don't want the catfish to suffocate. The Corys are about an inch long right now (I plan on moving them to a 30 or 40 gallon later when I get the resources). In my tank I have:
-Small amount of Java Moss
-Some Java Fern
-Crypt Wendtii
-2 bunches of Hornwort
-1 Anubias Frazeri
...I believe thats it. I'm willing to experiment but are their any easy signs I can look for for Oxygen deprivation?
