Exclamation I don't know what's happening

My fish sits on his side at the top of the tank and moves if glass is tapped and he is eating but he acts dead and he's never done this before. What should I do to treat this? (P.s) he IS in a quarantine tank)

Is he able to swim down? How much do you feed, what & how often? It may just be over feeding which can cause swim bladder issues. Try fasting him for 2-3 days & if he shows any other symptoms let us know.
