One word: Pudge.

I just would like to know if someone can suggst something else for me.

I've been told Tetracyline, but my Petco doen't have it (and neither does my LPS)

Candice is sending me some IAL (she's amazing), but I would like to know what other medicines I might need.

I've given up on the AQ salt because I belive he became immune to it, and the stress coat isn't helping either. Here is a pic of his deterioration over this month.



I'm not looking for regrowth immediately, but I would like to find a way to stop this from getting much worse. Any help is appreciated.

Ouch, you gotta live tail biters. Meds won't cure the habit of biting. Once the regrowth comes, he might as well bite that, too. Maybe overstock your tank with decorations or live plants. You might need to stimulate him even more.

The problem is, I don't think it's tail biting :/

If you see in the middle and third pic, it looks like his fins are kinda wearing thin towards the edges. It shouldn't look like that if he was biting :/

Tail biting, tail blow out (from over flaring). Extremely fragile fins (it's all too common with HMs). Or they could be getting caught on the filter or damaged by the decor. Any plastic plants? Anything with a sharp or rough edge?

There's nothing he's had in the tank to cause this at all. Everything in his tnak has been switched around and it's gotten worse. And there's no filter.

Whatever is wrng with him is solely HIM. whether it is biting, rot, or a blow out, it's been because of him, not the tank or anything else :/
