Has he always had dark color on the outside of his fins? It almost looks like fin rot to me.

Yes, it's just his coloring, i think.

Okay, also what temp is your tank at? He has some fin clamping high could also be from hard water but better safe than sorry.

It's pretty much always between 78-82. And also i use water conditioner so i think the water is fine.

Hmm that is odd indeed, then it has to be the hardness of your water making his tail curl. Oak leaves can also work with that if you have any around.

Yeah i know :\
I am getting some indian almond bark in 2 days, about the oak, can i just take some leaves from a tree? Because we have a forest nearby and i think there are oak trees.

Take the leaves that fell off and onto the ground, wash them before adding it into the tank.
